I got two new books yesterday. Harry Potter wasn't one of them, though only because it arrived on Saturday instead. Anyway, in an attempt to reduce costs on finishing our basement I went in search of books that could help me get a better understanding of what we are up against...before we decide if we hire a professional or if there is, in fact, some work we can handle ourselves.

Enter the "Build like a Pro" series by Taunton Press.

A couple of weeks ago I got an email from a woman who was trying to track down a cousin of mine. She "googled" my cousins name and wound up on my website. Figuring she had nothing to loose she sent me an e-mail asking if the name on my site could by any chance be a girl she went to school with. I was pleased to inform her that the answer was "yes" and forwarded her e-mail address and letter to my cousin. They had been high school friends and had lots touch after college.

Not much new going on this weekend. We had company stay with us and we went to the GMAR Home & Garden Show. Did a little clean up, and a little planning.
